Kiwaya Ukuleles

KTS, KTC, KTT Series - Top of the line ukuleles built by Japanese builder Shinji Takahashi and his crew. Takahashi's beautifully crafted instruments have brought him "Best in Show" awards two years in a row (2005 & 2006) at the annual ukulele builders' competition held in Honolulu by the "Ukulele Guild of Hawaii." All solid wood ukuleles, and these are the closest things to the vintage Martins. Available in soprano, concert and tenor sizes, with a total of 11 models. List price $475 to $1295.

KS, KC, KT Series - The environmentally-friendly laminated wood ukuleles are quickly gaining in popularity. Extremely thin laminated wood body (except for KSL-1 Solid top). Made in Japan. Available in soprano, concert and tenor sizes, with a total of 12 models. List price $220 to $800.

Kiwaya Ukuleles are built as light as possible for tone and projection. Our craftsmen pay close attention to details such as intonation, action, playability and cosmetic appearance. Kiwaya Ukuleles are all made in Japan and are the only Japanese-built ukuleles available in the U.S. market.
